About the role

As Account Manager for the public sector, you will manage existing contracts and develop new business relationships, promoting innovative workspace and office furnishing solutions. You will collaborate with major partners on large-scale, circular projects and play a key role in shaping sustainable and inspiring work environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and grow client accounts within the public sector.

  • Build long-term customer relationships based on trust and partnership.

  • Present innovative workspace concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.

  • Maintain a healthy sales funnel and identify new business opportunities.

  • Analyse market developments and competitor activity to inform strategic sales plans.

  • Translate customer needs into tailored solutions within the organisation’s product and service portfolio.

  • Ensure that all client commitments are met smoothly and professionally.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HBO level).

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a commercial B2B environment.

  • Familiarity with European tendering processes and public sector procurement.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English.

  • Ability to engage confidently with management- and board-level stakeholders.

  • Affinity with sustainable design, workspace solutions and circular business models.

  • Proven track record in achieving commercial targets through teamwork and persistence.
