About the role
As a Recruitment Consultant (Mechanical Engineering) based in Utrecht, you build and nurture relationships with clients and external colleagues, matching the right technical talent to the right assignments while growing your desk through proactive business development.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and expand client relationships.
- Source vacancies and write clear, engaging job adverts.
- Support and stay in close contact with external colleagues on assignment.
- Approach and win new clients; negotiate commercial terms.
- Conduct client and project site visits.
What you bring
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking.
- Some experience as an account manager or consultant (nice to have).
- Driving licence.
- Excellent Dutch; good English is a plus.
- Affinity with mechanical engineering/technology (nice to have).
- Commercial mindset; confident on the phone and in face-to-face meetings; strong questioning and listening skills.
