About the role
You will be the spearhead of NewU’s growth by identifying potential new customers (HR, people & culture leads, wellbeing/coaching departments) and initiating first contact. Using outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn), you qualify leads based on product interest and company size, set up demos, and transfer them to the Account Executive team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn the full sales cycle in a vibrant SaaS scale-up.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively reach out via cold/outbound calls, email and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
- Use tools like CRM and outreach platforms to manage outreach and track results.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads: assess fit in terms of company size, budget, need & timing.
- Book and prepare sales demos for the AE team.
- Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead generation and messaging.
- Provide feedback from the field that helps refine the product and sales approach.
What you bring
- HBO level education or equivalent.
- Fluency in Dutch; strong spoken & written English.
- Some experience in a commercial / sales / outreach role (internships or part-time sales count).
- High energy, perseverance and competitiveness; not afraid to pick up the phone.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment.
